What's My Approach to Therapy?

I value working with people who are looking to increase their sense of connection to themselves, others, and the world around them. I enjoy being a part of people’s journeys, where we walk side by side, creating a life that you genuinely enjoy. A journey that involves both myself and my clients, increasing our understanding of our emotional experiences, improving our ability to connect with others on a meaningful level, and feeling a sense of belonging in the world. I cherish the opportunity to hold a nonjudgmental space for you to be vulnerable and open, knowing the person sitting across from you is your partner on this journey.

I am trained in and have several years of experience providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I am able to offer DBT-informed treatment to individuals.
I am additionally trained and have experience providing Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET), DBT PET, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to individuals who struggle with trauma-related symptoms.

I value building a genuine relationship with the people I work with, which means there will be empathy, honesty, silliness, and openness on both ends of the relationship. I view my clients as the drivers of this adventure, and myself as the passenger who is willing to offer validation, support, guidance, and perspective.
