As a licensed mental health counselor and national certified counselor, I bring over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life’s most complex challenges with clarity, compassion, and evidence-based care. My background spans public, private, and charter schools as a school counselor, giving me a deep understanding of child and adolescent development, family dynamics, and systems-level thinking. I now specialize in working with teens, young adults, and women navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and intergenerational trauma.
I’m trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and draw from mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and strength-based approaches to meet clients where they are. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, my goal is to create a warm, collaborative, and empowering space where real change can take root.
I offer in-person and remote therapy for Florida residents. My practice is grounded in integrity, ongoing learning, and a commitment to helping people reconnect with their values and inner resilience.
My Practice & Services
Currently, I am offering two groups:
1) Therapeutic Book Club for Young Adult Women (21-30): Every month, we select a new popular book and discuss the topics, characters, themes, and how they have impacted our lives and understanding. Join a therapist-led group once per month to find validation, gain understanding, have fun, and maybe even make friends! Meeting at Lake Mary Community Center. Late afternoonevening, in-person.
2) High School Prep (rising ninth graders): Small group for rising freshmen focusing on the academic and social-emotional skills your child will need for success in high school. Facilitated by Mandy Bumgarner, former HS teacher, school counselor, and current licensed mental health counselor. Specific dates will be released when the group has enough members.
