My Approach to Therapy

Are you a teen or adult feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, life changes, difficult emotions, or experiences from the past? Maybe you feel stuck, unsure of yourself, or like you’re struggling to move forward. I provide a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard and understood without judgment. I take the time to understand your story, your experiences, and what you need rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you while building insight, coping skills, and confidence to help you move forward. My ideal clients are motivated teens and adults who are looking to better themselves. I use thought-change strategies, mindfulness, action-based strategies, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) in a collaborative, supportive environment. I believe everyone deserves a place to be themselves while building the skills and confidence needed to create meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're seeking support for day-to-day concerns or more complex challenges, I'm here to help.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

I, unfortunately, had many clients come to me not feeling heard and understood by other therapists, often the previous therapist makes the sessions about themselves, allowing little room for the client to talk, or makes the client feel misheard. I make a conscious effort to not have that in my sessions. I am constantly evaluating how I was during and after sessions and analyzing how I can improve for next session to better help my clients.
