My Approach to Therapy
I love people, and I love being part of the journey with my clients. I have always said that "I don't do therapy to you, I do it with you." I have been in practice for many years and have learned that being present with someone can be very powerful.
My Practice & Services
My practice is quiet and peaceful. There are 2 different rooms to choose from to hold sessions in, along with a private waiting room. I do share the space with other therapists, but our schedules are such that we often do not intersect. If we do, there is ample space for sessions to coincide. We take every precaution to consider and create a confidential atmosphere.
I use software that allows my clients to add, take away, or change their own appointments. This software is HIPPA compliant, and session notes are securely kept through this software.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
I have always felt that making the appointment is the first, and hardest step, toward change. I encourage you to make the appointment, just one. Come to the appointment with an open mind... with the option of returning. You have to find the right "fit" with your therapist, and you are the consumer.
