My Approach to Helping
Life can have a variety of challenges, however there is hope to overcome any challenge. I believe everyone is capable of change and overcoming difficult life obstacles. I use a collaborative approach which empowers the individual on their journey. I ensure therapy is conducted in supportive, safe and nonjudgmental environment.
I work in private practice setting focusing on mental health and substance use. I have experience working with court mandated clients specifically parenting and DWI cases, children, adolescents and adults. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, adjustment issues, depression, self-esteem, trauma, grief, substance use and other mental health issues.
I earned my Masters in Clinical Mental Health from Gardner-Webb University in 2020 and Licensed in the State of North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate.
