What's My Approach to Therapy?
My approach to therapy is authentic, empowering, and solution-oriented. I believe in helping clients increase personal awareness and understand their patterns of behavior in a safe and open-minded environment. I work with individuals and families, especially youth and young adults, to address concerns including anxiety, anger, attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), depression, stress, trauma, grief and loss, school and social challenges, and self-esteem issues. I draw from evidence-based practices such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family therapy, and motivational interviewing to help you build coping strategies that align with your values and goals. My hope is to support you in discovering greater self-compassion and capacity for meaningful change.
