My Approach to Helping

My emphasis in therapy is to support you in identifying your unique goals, and work collaboratively to remove barriers toward building the meaningful life you have envisioned. My goal, as your therapist, is to help you create a personal road map to navigate the bumps in the road and to be present for the parts of the journey you can tune into to enjoy. I am passionate in my role as a counselor for adolescents and adults. I specialize working with individuals seeking support with anxiety, trauma, life transitions, EDbody image disturbances, and relationships. I practice a modern and relatable approach to therapy and tailor my skills to your specific needs. My personal belief is that the therapeutic relationship is essential for growth and I nurture that bond with authenticity, empathy, and transparency. I integrate affirmation, humor, challenge, and a direct and honest approach in my sessions.
