My Approach to Therapy
If you're here, you might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted from trying to hold everything together. Maybe your mind feels constantly busy, you struggle to focus or follow through, or you find yourself caught in patterns you can't seem to break. You might be hard on yourself, overthinking everything, or wondering why things feel harder than they "should." If you're carrying the impact of past experiences, you may notice it showing up in your relationships, your self-worth, or the way you move through your day.
You don't have to figure this out alone. I help adults navigate attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), anxiety, depression and the lasting effects of childhood trauma in a way that feels supportive, practical and genuinely human.
Working with me is collaborative and tailored to you. I show up warm, intuitive and direct when needed. Together, well slow things down and make sense of whats going on beneath the surface, while also building tools to help you manage overwhelm, improve focus, regulate emotions and feel more grounded in your daily life.
My approach integrates evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and trauma-informed care. More importantly, I focus on you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel both supported and gently challenged.
Over time, our work can help you better understand yourself, shift patterns that no longer serve you, and create a life that feels more manageable, connected, and aligned.
My Practice & Services
My practice is fully virtual, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space. I work with adults across Massachusetts and offer individual therapy tailored to your unique needs and goals.
I value creating a space that feels consistent, supportive, and grounded. Sessions are collaborative and paced in a way that feels manageable for you, while still encouraging growth and meaningful change.
If youre looking for a therapy experience that is both practical and deeper in nature, where you can build skills while also understanding yourself more fully, this may be a good fit.
How Psychotherapy Can Help
Starting therapy can feel confusing, especially if you're not sure what you need or what the process looks like. My role is to help you slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and move at a pace that feels supportive rather than overwhelming. Together, we'll explore what's beneath the surface, identify patterns that are getting in the way, and build practical tools to help you feel more grounded, focused, and in control. Therapy isn't about having all the answers, it's about creating space to understand yourself more fully and make meaningful, lasting change with guidance and support.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
It's completely normal to feel unsure about starting therapy. Many people reach out because something isn't working anymore, but they're not certain what they need or where to begin. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, or carrying experiences you've had to manage on your own for a long time. Therapy offers a supportive space to slow down, understand what's beneath the surface, and begin creating meaningful, sustainable change at a pace that feels right for you. You don't have to have everything figured out before you start, we'll navigate it together.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
If you've had a difficult or unhelpful experience in therapy before, it makes sense to feel hesitant about trying again. Many people come to me feeling unheard, rushed, or misunderstood in past therapeutic relationships. My approach is grounded in collaboration, curiosity, and respect for your pace. We'll take time to understand what didn't feel right before and create a space where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely seen. Therapy should feel like a partnership, one where your voice matters and your experiences are met with care. Together, we can rebuild trust in the process and move toward the change you've been hoping for.
