My Approach to Therapy

Through therapy, you'll overcome internal and external obstacles and gain more self-awareness through a journey of self-exploration and self-discovery. I believe that mindfulness and awareness are transformative and healing. With my guidance, these ancient skills can help you achieve more joy and freedom while manifesting your natural talents and helping you hear and trust your true inner voice. I offer my clients support and compassion, and a warm, strong presence. I skillfully and directly challenge the behavioral and emotional patterns that leave you feeling stuck. Your old patterns might have been helpful in the past, but these patterns can become outdated obstacles to achieving the life you want. These patterns can include behaviors such as denial, dissociation, anxiety, aggression, passive-aggression, defensiveness, and unhealthy relationship styles. These patterns remind us to pay closer attention to ourselves and our bodies. By embracing the wisdom of the present moment, we allow our experience to speak to and teach us. I support my clients, listening to and trusting their experience so that they can embrace the wisdom of their previous patterns and gain a new capacity for growth, insight, healing, and transformation.

My Practice & Services

I draw on over 20 years of experience with mindfulness, attachment, neuroscientific, PACT couples therapy, IFS, and body-centered approaches. I've worked with individuals, couples, families, and teens. Drawing on over 20 years of my mindfulness meditation practice provides grounding for the therapeutic process. I'm an experienced and skilled meditation instructor, a husband, a father, and a men's retreat and parenting class facilitator. I will work with you to unlock your innate possibilities for transformation and healing.
