What's My Approach to Therapy?
Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and deeply human. I work with people who are functioning on the outside, but inside feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in familiar patterns, or exhausted from carrying too much for too long.
My approach is integrative and evidence-informed, grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when we understand both what you’re experiencing now and why it makes sense given your history, relationships, nervous system, and current stressors. Together, we’ll slow things down enough to name what’s happening, make room for what you feel, and build tools that help you respond differently—without losing who you are.
In our work, we may focus on:
- Understanding patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships,
- Building emotional regulation and coping skills for stress, anxiety, and burnout,
- Strengthening boundaries, communication, and self-trust,
- Working through transitions, grief, identity shifts, or “stuckness,”
- Reconnecting with values and creating sustainable change.
I aim to offer a space that is warm and direct—supportive without being vague, and honest without being harsh. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you; it’s about helping you understand yourself more clearly, relate to yourself with more compassion, and make choices that align with the life you want.
