My Approach to Therapy

I specialize in helping adults heal from complex trauma, posttraumatic stress (PTSD), dissociation, anxiety, and the lasting effects of childhood adversity. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed by emotional reactivity, relationship difficulties, chronic shame, or a sense of being disconnected from themselves and others. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and paced to your individual needs. I believe healing happens in the context of safety, understanding, and self-compassion, not through forcing change before you are ready. Drawing from eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Experiencing®, parts work, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills training, and mindfulness-based approaches, I help clients develop greater stability, self-understanding, and connection so they can move beyond survival and engage more fully in life.

My Practice & Services

Beginning therapy can feel like a significant step, especially when you have been carrying difficult experiences on your own. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation where we can discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals for treatment, and any questions you may have about my approach. This conversation can help you determine whether I am the right fit for your healing journey.

My Ideal Client

I work best with adults who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. Many of my clients are successful, thoughtful people who appear to be coping on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck internally. They may struggle with the effects of trauma, difficult relationships, chronic self-criticism, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm. Therapy provides a space to slow down, make sense of these experiences, and move toward a greater sense of clarity, confidence, and connection.

My Therapy Focus

Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who appear to be coping on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck internally. My focus is helping clients develop a greater sense of safety, self-compassion, and connection so they can move beyond survival and begin living with greater freedom and authenticity.
