What's My Approach to Therapy?
Welcome! I am Adalia. I work with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma, and I strive to provide a supportive, grounded, safe space. I specialize in working with teenagers as they navigate emotional challenges, life transitions, and identity development. For me, the most central part of therapy is building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I also enjoy working with adults, supporting them through life's ups and downs. I am completing my PhD and stay updated on current research to support mental health.
My therapeutic approach is primarily person-centered. My role is to listen, offer support, and collaborate with you in a nonjudgmental way as you work toward healthier relationships with yourself and others. I also integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and experiential approaches to meet each client’s needs. I offer weekend availability. All of my sessions are conducted through telehealth. I accept private-pay clients at a rate of $140 per session. I also accept Health Savings Plans. Most people do not know that many insurance plans have out-of-network benefits that can payreimburse up to 80%.
I work for Zealous Therapy under the supervision of Erik J. Erickson.
