What's My Approach to Therapy?
If you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or unsure about your relationships, identity, or life direction, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. I work with LGBTQIA+ adults and couples — including those exploring identity, navigating relationships in monogamous or non-monogamous structures, or facing challenges tied to societal pressures or discrimination — who want to feel more grounded, connected, and confident. Many clients come to therapy to address anxiety, self-doubt, relational tension, or patterns that keep repeating, and are looking for a space where they can explore these challenges safely and without judgment.
Together, we’ll explore what drives your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and notice patterns that may have developed for good reasons but no longer serve you. I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach, drawing from attachment-focused therapy, emotionally focused work with couples, mindfulness, somatic techniques, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and cognitive-behavioral strategies. Sessions are active and reflective, giving you space to understand yourself while practicing tools that feel sustainable and aligned with your values.
My goal is to help you build clarity, self-trust, and more authentic connections — with yourself, with others, and in your relationships. I hope you leave sessions feeling more confident, more grounded, and better able to take steps toward the life and relationships you want.
