Hi, I’m Morgan! With compassionate, evidence-based care and a passion for helping others heal and grow, I offer a safe space to process your current challenges and experiences that may be contributing to your current symptoms.
While my practice, Psychological Healthcare, includes many individuals, my specialty is working with couples. In addition to coping with the stress of everyday life, I have extensive experience helping people with infidelity, boundary issues, family challenges, conflict resolution difficulties, anger management, loss of intimacy, trust issues, parenting disagreements, and blended family challenges. Everyone I work with has a different combination of goals. Whether I am working with an individual or a couple, I strive to help my clients not only achieve their goals, but also live a more fulfilling life. For over 25 years, I have seen many couples begin treatment on the edge of a break-up or divorce and find their way forward. In fact, the vast majority of couples have moved forward with a renewed focus and commitment to each other. For most couples, my approach is to help quickly stabilize the situation, focus on any necessary repair work, build relationship skills, and maintain an ongoing pattern of success. Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, and you are not sure where to turn. We all have times in our lives when we are struggling and need to know that help and support are there for us. Although it can be hard, reaching out and taking that first brave step will set you on your journey towards healing and happiness. I will help you to feel good about yourself and your life. Here you will find a place where you are always accepted.
My approach to therapy is largely cognitivebehavioral, with a strong emphasis on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) techniques, specifically learning to be mindful- noticing and accept your thoughts, feelings and physical sensations- while committing to behavior that is consistent with your own values. My experiences both in and out of the work setting are fairly broad so I feel I can address most issues clients present with. My style is engaging and supportive. I view our relationship as a partnership. I will spend the majority of our first sessions together listening to get to know you better. I believe that everything in our lives is interrelated, so at times I may let our focus move to whatever is particularly troubling to you that day. At other times, I may focus you back on the current problem we are trying to solve. I am married with two children and have had two career changes. I have experienced a wide variety of life stressors and have sought help when needed. I believe that these experiences have provided me with empathy, perspective and coping skills that I can use to help you.
If you’re feeling stuck—knowing what’s hard but unsure how to break through—you're not alone. Whether you're grappling with trauma, anxiety, or the lasting effects of sexual or domestic abuse, it’s normal to feel uncertain about the next step. Therapy can be a safe and powerful space to unpack these struggles, find clarity, and learn how to move forward in a way that feels right for you. Together, we will empower you, helping you take control of your life and build deeper, more meaningful connections—with yourself, others, and the world. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone; healing is possible. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, focusing on genuineness, warmth, and unconditional positive regard. With a trauma-focused lens, I integrate IFS, Gestalt, mindful self-compassion, and mindfulness techniques. This holistic approach helps clients heal, gain insight, and build resilience on their journey to growth and recovery. Life is already hard enough without trauma; allow yourself the opportunity to unburden, learn new strategies and perspectives, and start living authentically. If you’re someone who appears to “have it all together” on the outside while privately struggling with the weight of life's challenges on the inside, you don't have to go through it alone. I help adults navigate anxiety, quiet the inner critic, and move through challenging life transitions, such as the loss of a beloved person or pet, career changes, midlife shifts, parenthood, caregiving, or adjusting to a new medical diagnosis. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally drained, or disconnected from yourself, therapy can provide a space to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with your strengths. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique experience. I combine a person-centred style with evidence-based strategies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), to support meaningful, lasting change. Together, we’ll create practical tools and insights that fit your goals, values, and day-to-day life. Reaching out for support is a meaningful first step. When you’re ready, I’m here to help you move toward building the life you want.
I believe a strong, trusting relationship with your therapist is the foundation for meaningful growth and change. In our work together, I meet you where you are, with empathy, compassion, and without judgment. My holistic approach focuses on your mind, body, and spirit, and I integrate both traditional and alternative therapies to support your overall well-being.
Empowerment, empathy, compassion, and trust are the pillars upon which I build a safe healing space for clients to overcome obstacles. Along with a secure therapeutic relationship, I use interventions proven effective such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). I have completed Level 1 & Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. When working with couples, I channel these skills towards building a platform to increase relationship intimacy through healthy communication, conflict resolution, building love maps, and making life dreams come true. For several years I have worked with individuals, couples, groups, and families from diverse backgrounds, propelling all towards their full potential. Ethically, I use only evidence-based practices supported by groundbreaking research, which provide clients with interventions demonstrated to work best for their unique struggles. I look forward to providing an engaging, educational, and life-altering experience in all sessions, increasing mental strength and providing a smoother ride ahead in life.
You may be used to showing up for everyone else while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what you need. I offer a space where you can speak openly, feel heard, and begin making sense of what you are experiencing. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I have a particular interest in supporting women of color as they work through burnout, family expectations, identity, and the pressure to remain strong. Together, we will explore how your experiences, thoughts, and relationships influence your daily life. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and emotional regulation skills, tailoring our work to your goals and needs. We may focus on strengthening boundaries, improving communication, understanding emotional patterns, or finding manageable ways to cope. I value your perspective and welcome honest feedback about what is helping and what needs to change. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can begin with what feels most important to you and move at a pace that supports both trust and growth.
