As a therapist, I believe every client is unique and deserves a personalized approach to help them identify their individual challenges and develop an effective plan for growth and change.
As a therapist, I believe every client is unique and deserves a personalized approach to help them identify their individual challenges and develop an effective plan for growth and change.
I approach therapy with sensitivity, compassion, and encouragement. I believe in empowering my clients to tap into their strengths, intuition, self-love, and motivation. I support individuals as they navigate identity and heal from past trauma and harmful perspectives. I incorporate mindfulness, breathwork, acceptance, attunement, and understanding the nervous system into my practice. I value the partnership between client and clinician, which shows up in my body-based work and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). These practices can help people feel freer to trust their body and mind in the healing process. I love to infuse sessions with humor and optimism, creating an environment that supports deep work while also offering moments of much-needed levity as people navigate healing in an increasingly complicated world.
Welcome. Here is a little something about me. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia and Florida with 13 years of clinical experience, currently working with clients statewide via telehealth. I believe in treating everyone with genuine care, absolute respect, acceptance, and compassion. Taking the first step in seeking healing and a more fulfilling, happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. You are the expert in your life and the voice of your story. I am committed to making sure our interactions and treatment plan meet your unique and specific needs. I have extensive experience working with trauma-related disorders; CBT and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play and Narrative Therapy, The Mindful Solution and Meditation, Crisis Intervention, and TraumaCommunity Resiliency Model (CTRM)®. Over the past thirty years I've walked with people on their spiritual journeys and have helped them explore “Where is the Divine in all this?” (spoiler alert! Always Inside you). We will explore how love and forgiveness can help bring about healing. I am also very comfortable praying with you if you ask." I have extensive experience working with adolescents, young adults, and individuals who have experienced sexual assaultabuse, have been (or may still be) trafficked or exploited. I help clients who have trauma, complex trauma, and post-traumatic stress. I am comfortable working with a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, and loss, which frequently intersect with the profound impact of trauma. My communication style is calm, engaging, and personable. I have clear professional boundaries but I also use a lot of humor and I’m very real with my clients. I want my clients to feel listened to as well as feel comfortable talking with me about anything. There will be no judgment here! I’ve worked with young people experiencing homelessness for almost 30 years. I learned early on that there were a few things that helped spin their world upside down – the loss of a parent, grief, sexual assault or interpersonal violence, their ‘coming out’ to their families, or mental health issues. Their dealing with their homelessness was secondary to their healing from their past. I wanted to be one of the people in their lives that saw them – really saw them. But I also wanted to be someone who had some skills to help them. Where to Begin: What you can expect from our first session together. We’ll first check in on how you’ve been feeling recently. Make sure you’re safe and all. Maybe explore what made this time THE time to reach out. I’ll ask you to give me everything you think I will need to fully understand what is going on in your life. The first sessions are about motivation and engagement. As I mentioned above, you are the expert in your life and the voice of your story. I am committed to making sure our interactions and treatment plan grow out of your story and meet your unique and specific needs.
I'm Aneesah Landry, a licensed professional counseling in the state of Georgia. I mostly provide therapy based on the needs of the client. It is my goal to tailor the sessions to fit your desired goals in order to relieve or reduce the burden you may be feeling.
Vickie J Hagan, MA, LPC. I believe that everyone can reach an optimum state of health. Therapeutic interpersonal relationships are the primary component of all healthcare interactions that facilitate the development of positive clinician-patient experiences.
Painful feelings are not a sign of weakness nor, are they your fault. There is relief and, there is hope. Our first hour together is free. I do this because this time should only be for you. You should be the one to decide if you feel comfortable with us working together. Your level of comfort and openness is important to me. You should feel free to ask any questions you may have without feeling any pressure to get "something" done. In the past, most families have had the stability of living in one place with resources such as grandparents and lifelong friends. Now, we move, change jobs, and may have blended or single parent families. Our resources may no longer be there for us. Life's challenges can make us feel powerless, frustrated, depressed and isolated. These feelings can create anguish that feels tortuous, and at times unrelenting. Pushing them aside just doesn't seem to work anymore. Since these feelings are unseen, they are not easily understood. Unfortunately, we may think these feelings are a sign of weakness and we think we should be able to "just get over it." It takes strength and courage to reach out, ask for help, and commit to discovery and change. Life's challenges can cause feelings of hopelessness, sadness, and fear. Sometimes, it may seem these challenges are overwhelming. These feelings actually expose us to more illness and physical pain and also affects our judgment, decision making, and personal relationships. If you are reading this, then you are reading with hope. Hope with understanding and help, can bring you relief.

I am a Clinical Psychologist and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I'm currently licensed in the State of Georgia (Lic. PSY004432) and as a Telehealth Psychologist in the State of Florida (TPPY2137). I offer services to English and Spanish speakers. I have extensive experience providing individual and group therapy to adults (18+). I also have experience and training in multiple approaches to treating negative, traumatic, stressful, and challenging experiences. I mainly provide support with an integrative approach by tailoring interventions to each participant's needs. Some of the treatment approaches that I also practice include, but are not limited to ACT, CBT, Humanistic, Person-Centered, Narrative, Behavioral Modification, Solution Focus, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma focus. My main focus is to work with folks who have experienced trauma andor PTSD, dissociative disorders, and related disorders. On the other hand, I have worked with plenty of people with other life stressors and situations like dealing with stress, anxiety, grief, mood disorders, and others. I feel comfortable working with anyone, since I believe anybody could benefit from learning more about themselves in order to become the best versions of themselves. However, in order to do that, that person has to be willing, committed, and interested in starting the healing process. If they are not ready, then it could be challenging for them to let go of habits that they need to work on. I do my best to be curious and explore each participant's needs with compassionate care and active listening. During my years of training and practice, I realized that many mental health issues are rooted in past negative or traumatic experiences. The symptoms of depression, anxiety, substance use, relationship issues, and others can be the tip of the iceberg. This is why I decided to specialize in working with trauma, PTSD, dissociative disorders, dual diagnoses, and other related issues. My main goal for participants is for them to overcome challenges and reach their own personal and therapeutic goals and increase their engagement in healthy coping skills. In the first session, we discuss the limits of confidentiality and gather family background information, medical history, and other related information about the current concerns that the participant has.

Life can be hard. Sometimes we have difficulty communicating with our partner, boss, children, or our parents. Sometimes we have difficulty adjusting to a new environment or new life circumstances. At times, we may feel stuck and unsure of how to make changes in our lives. Other times we may want to delve deeper and truly understand our motivations and desires. Sometimes we just need to feel heard and understood. Having an unbiased, non judgmental person to talk to can help. I firmly believe that the key components to a successful therapeutic experience are the individual’s commitment to the process and a trusted relationship with the therapist so my primary goal is to create a non judgmental and space safe where my clients can feel comfortable sharing. I actively engage in conversation with my clients, strive to meet them where they are and truly understand their concerns and desires. I work collaboratively with them to explore different perspectives and bridge the gap between their current state of being and living their most fulfilled lives. I truly believe that self exploration and motivation can lead to growth and positive change. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families on a wide range of topics including but not limited to: anxiety and stress management, depression, self esteem, personal growth, healthy communication, navigating difficult life changes, differentiation and identity development, vocational decision making, finding worklife balance, relationship, marriage & family related issues, parenting, and maternal mental health. I am especially passionate about working with women and couples on perinatal and postpartum challenges and infertility struggles. I am not wed to any one particular theoretical orientation, but rather draw upon various frameworks. My approach is client centered- non judgmental and empathetic, collaborative, integrative, and family systems oriented. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia and hold a License in Mental Health Counseling in New York as well. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Emory University, a Masters in Counseling from New York University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Columbia University. I have over 20 years of counseling experience and have done extensive post graduate training in Marriage and Family Therapy at The Ackerman Institute for the Family, The Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy and The Link Counseling Center where I completed a 3 year residency. I have also completed Postpartum Support International's Advanced Certification Training in Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy and the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy's Sex Therapy Certification program. “Life is a journey, not a destination.” The same can be said of therapy. It is a process and it can be difficult, but also beautiful and transformative. I would be honored to join you on your journey.
