I am a dual-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, delivering thoughtful, evidence-based treatment across the lifespan. I work with adolescents and adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, mood-related challenges, and life transitions. Many of my clients seek greater clarity, stability, and a renewed sense of control. Whether you are aiming to better understand your symptoms, enhance daily functioning, or build sustainable strategies for long-term mental wellness, I am here to support that process with intention, collaboration, and care.
We all have gifts from God, and I believe helping people to heal is one of my gifts. We are all on a journey of self discovery. All aspects of our life including the work that we do, the people that come into our lives, and the things that happen to us all provide an opportunity for growth and deepening our connection with ourselves and others. I have known I wanted to be a therapist since I was 13, because it was the first time when I saw a therapist that someone actually tuned into my feelings. Through this experience, I felt seen and truly began to see myself. The most valuable subject we can learn about to be successful in life is ourselves! How are we supposed to navigate through our lives without knowing ourselves? How can we be centered if we do not understand some underlying principles about psychology, such as how we interpret our environment, defense mechanisms we employ to protect ourselves from pain, and the mind-body-spirit connection? How can we navigate the many ups and downs of life without this knowledge? We cannot; we will be lost! That is why there is so much suffering in our world, because individually, as families, and as a society we are trying to navigate our lives without truly understanding and healing ourselves. Through understanding and healing, it helps to stop years of negative multi-generational patterns in families and helps to promote a deeper, happier more peaceful connection within and with others, which in turn, makes our world a better place.

My approach to therapy is Humanistic-Existential. Therapy in my view is a sacred journey to the core of one's being in search of meaning. Not unlike other explorations, here too, desire, determination, planning, and a roadmap are needed. Your therapist plays a critical role in planning and mapping your most crucial journey. There are times when psychological anguish has reached an overwhelming point by the time therapy begins. There, the 1st priority of therapy is to help the client to unpack the message enveloped in suffering. Therapy can help bring the realization that pain is the prelude to true awakening without which there can be no lasting clarity to light up your path in life. My beloved mystic, Rumi says it most eloquently in "only when you break you let the light in".
I provide individual and couple therapy. I offer a compassionate approach. I am skilled at attuning with my client’s unique situation. I assist in mapping out a plan to overcome obstacles and finding a healthy solutions, facilitating a healing therapeutic environment and providing the space for clients to draw out their inherent strengths and achieve desired outcomes.
