Awards table for the 2017 Drum Online Media AwardsThe GoodTherapy.org Team is proud to announce we’ve won the Drum Online Media Award for Best Business-to-Consumer (B2C) News Site. The award is a new category on this year’s recognition list.

The Drum Online Media Awards, now in their seventh year, recognize excellence in online media focusing on a variety of specialty subjects around the world. In evaluating GoodTherapy.org for the B2C news site award, judges assessed how well the site’s content delivers its editorial mission and serves its audience. The award recognizes GoodTherapy.org for its high-quality, creative, and original content.

GoodTherapy.org was also nominated in the categories of best commentary/blogging and best specialist site for journalism. The award for best commentary/blogging was given to Middle East Eye, and the two awards for best specialist site for journalism went to Carbon Brief and Greenpeace Energydesk. Other finalists for these categories included International Business Times, Guardian News & Media, and Refinery29, among others.

The winners were announced at an awards ceremony in London last week. Other award winners include Al Jazeera as best website of the year, Channel 4 News as outstanding digital team of the year, and The Independent as best national news site.
