My Approach to Helping
Right now, in this time of uncertainty, people are suffering. Added onto the issues they have been dealing with are huge changes, job losses, kids at home...changes.
To me this is the time to really get clear about what helps and what does not. How am I helping?
teaching new skills - how to stay grounded and calm
offering personalized guided meditations you can listen to on your phone
making several guided meditations available on my YouTube channel
helping people re-frame their thoughts and experiences for new perspectives
teaching Tapping or EFT for anxiety, lack of motivation, sadness, worry
offering a wider perspective, talking about the gifts of this time, how to stay open-hearted, grateful
Practical ideas and tools clients can actually use. And, my current clients are reporting that what we are doing together is helping them.

More Info About My Practice
I graduated in 1998 with my master's degree. In 2005 I began my training in clinical hypnotherapy. I continue my work at the Wellness Institute in Issaquah, Washington as a student and now a teacher. I utilize traditional therapy, transpersonal hypnotherapy, holotropic breathwork, dream work, TRE ( Tension & Trauma Release ), shamanic practices and resolution of pre-birth-perinatal trauma.
I have started uploading audio guided meditations to my website: check under resources!
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I believe one of the things I do best is help people find balance in their lives and in their bodies. Using not only the mind but the body in the therapeutic, healing process is crucial to lasting success and true mind, body and soul healing.
Whatever your issues around anxiety, fight-or-flight, feeling unsafe in the world all the time...I can help. Because my training spans the entire lifetime - preconception, womb, birth, early childhood to elder hood, I am in a perfect position to help you see your life in a different and bigger perspective.
What I Usually Need to Know to Help
You would be an ideal client if you are a: life-long learner who loves to grow and change, a person who is flexible and open to new experiences, is curious, willing to do some work outside of our sessions, willing to take full responsibility for their own life, admits they don't know what they don't know, and almost the most important - a person who can, perhaps in time, laugh kindly at themselves. Someone who wants a collaborative 'partnership' on the healing journey.
