My Approach to Helping
Zarin Yaqubie is a Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about the journey of healing and transformation in the therapeutic process. She believes that therapy can serve as a powerful space to understand and work through life stressors and deeply-rooted patterns in order to create more fulfilling and meaningful life experiences.
Zarin incorporates an eclectic lens to therapy that utilizes person-centered, psychodynamic, multicultural and existential approaches to treatment. She strongly believes in accounting for each individual’s unique and complex clinical needs that is explored through a trustful, attuned and interactive therapeutic relationship.
She has clinical experience working with adult individuals with anxiety and depression, complex trauma and PTSD, substance abuse and addiction, interpersonal relationship, adjustment issues as well as multicultural concerns.
Zarin earned her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University in 2017 and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Long Island University in 2014.
