My Approach to Helping
Therapy should not be a lifetime investment, but a partnership between two people in the room. All our work should be directed toward the reduction of pain (of any kind). Pain comes in such a range that we often do not recognize it and, often, we have been socialized to ignore our own pain. Our minds and bodies are wonderfully complex sets of warning signs and learning to recognize this distress is the first step in learning how to reduce our own pain.
