My Approach to Helping
No matter where we find ourselves in life, and regardless of who we are, we all have things that stand between us and the life we want. You may feel stuck in your career. The pressure and dissatisfaction from work may follow you home and impact your closest relationships. Maybe marriage and family have become a juggling act and it feels like both are about to hit the floor. It could seem like none of your dreams or goals are falling into place along the timeline you envisioned, and you feel isolated. Sometimes being alone isn’t nearly as heavy as feeling alone.
Something has to change – but what? Before you quit your job, reprioritize your relationships, or give up on your future plans, remember this: none of that matters unless you are committed to the work. You are the something that must change, because you are the only thing within your own control. In fact, you are the reason my counseling practice exists.
