My Approach to Helping
I specialize in anxiety, grief, pregnancy postpartum and parenting challenges, trauma, and relationship issues. You don\'t feel like yourself, and your self-critical thoughts and big emotions are running the show. You may feel overwhelmed, filled with worry, irritation, guilt or resentment. I believe that, given a safe, compassionate space, we all have the ability to connect to our inner wisdom about how to live the life we desire. I can help you make sense of how you got here, get clarity on the inner conflicts that are making you feel stuck, and find a clearer vision of your path to wellness.
Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and IFS (\"parts\" work), I tailor my approach to your unique experience, addressing current concerns or going deeper, as you need. We will collaborate to set goals and find the practical strategies that work best for you to acknowledge your emotions and respond more effectively in the moment.
