My Approach to Helping
I believe that each individual, couple, and family has a unique set of strengths and abilities. Sometimes, we need help in identifying these strengths and in using them to achieve our goals. Balance, change, and growth may come about in many different ways. For some people it is by learning new copings skills or adopting new communication methods. While for others it is overcoming the hurts of the past, adopting a new outlook, or accepting what cannot be changed. Still, for some, it is a matter of getting to know themselves better. However, very often it is only a matter of applying some simple solution focused techniques that can help us resolve a very confusing or stressful situation.
I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment, and collaborate with the client on uncovering their own unique paths to balance and wellness.
I'm trained and experienced in various approaches to therapy that could be adjusted to the individual and specific needs and goals of my clients. I'm dedicated to the highest standards of professional practice and strictly adhere to all the regulations governing private health information.
