My Approach to Helping
My style is collaborative, direct, and empathic. Together with my clients, I make sure there is agreement about the specific goals for therapy, offer an explanation for the issues, and develop a personalized treatment plan. I provide interventions that are effective and based upon the most advanced and current research. I am attentive and frequently monitor progress towards therapy goals and will make appropriate adjustments to the treatment plan when needed. My goal is to help my clients improve their lives and achieve psychological wellness. I utilize my expertise and warmth to build hope, personal power, and the ability to overcome emotional health issues, whether big or small.
