My Approach to Helping
When people experience profound life changes or trauma it is not uncommon for their lives to come undone. I am passionate about bringing healing to those who are suffering through the chaos of abrupt life changes. I help my clients – adults and families – achieve radical self-acceptance of themselves so they can live their own life with no apologies.
Additionally, as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community who has experienced the challenges and rewards of discovering and expressing my radical self, I am committed to helping clients of all genders, sexual identities and expressions feel safe and respected.

No single therapy approach is right for every individual, and I have been trained in a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and the treatment of Trauma and PTSD through EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
My educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University and a dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Family Studies from Weber State University.
