My Approach to Helping
As a therapist, I strive to create a safe and warm space where therapeutic rapport can thrive. I love working with clients to not only work on symptomology but to create deep and meaningful change at the identity level.
My practice seeks to attack symptoms while creating space for powerful growth. I believe that the heart, mind, and soul are all connected and that therapy should focus on this intersectionality as a mechanism for change. I use a cognitive behavioral approach while pulling strengths-based and persons-centered theory. Much of my experience has been working with people who suffer from depressed mood, anxiety, behavioral addiction, anger difficulties, and trauma.
More Info About My Practice
I work remotely by secure videoconference to not only provide affordable care but also accessible counseling for individuals who might have demanding schedules or long commutes. If you have any questions about teletherapy, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Wonder if teletherapy is the right fit for you? Please let me know if you have doubts and we can set up a pro bono first session to see if it is a good fit for you. The vast majority of clients I work with are shocked by how effective and easy it is.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
Many of my clients have had previous counseling experiences that left a bad taste in their mouth. My goal is to meet clients where they are at and to give flexible and personal care. I believe strong rapport to be absolutely essential to our work together and I make it a priority in my work.
