My Approach to Helping
I take a mindfulness-based that utilizes walking outdoors this approach that focusing on compassion and using
experience. I have been in the mental health field since 2005. I have worked children, adolescents and adults in my career. I have treated depression, anxiety, anger issues, parent-child relationship issues, relationship issues, porn addiction, low self-confidence, oppositional defiance disorder, behavioral issues, bi-polar disorder, borderline personality disorder and complex trauma. I spent six years with juvenile court, providing mental health and addiction treatment. Getting outside and walking is one of the best ways to learn how to heal yourself, using movement, talk therapy and nature to find your path to a meaningful life. Walking is natural bilateral stimulation and can help you work through difficult life situations with mindfulness and a supportive guide.
