My Approach to Helping

If you're ready for more in life, you've come to the right place. People often meet with me because something isn't working. They can't get through the week (or even the day) sometimes, without their anxiety taking over. Or they're unhappy with life itself - with their friendships, their intimate relationships, or their career. They wish they were less stressed, able to pull it together, thriving, and happy, but instead they feel sad, lost, stuck, or overwhelmed.

I consider it a privilege to bring compassion and understanding to the most raw and tender places in people's personal and professional lives.

I understand how stuck life can feel, and I'd love to guide you to new solutions. I care about helping my clients experience more life. People describe me as easy to connect to, candid, insightful, and warm. Together we can create a safe and compassionate place to sort through your current situations, bring understanding, new perspectives, wisdom, and healing.

More Info About My Practice

Wouldn't life be so much easier if you had been taught from the beginning the crucial skills of managing difficult relationship dynamics, communicating well so people know how to respond to you, handling stress or anxiety, or knowing how to navigate your career?

Very few people know how to understand their own lives, or what to do with anger, grief, or pain. What to do with setbacks, lack of confidence, loneliness, or how to get themselves out of a difficult situation they feel stuck in. It's not your fault that you can't navigate yourself out of these problems. Humans are designed to need other people to help them with this.

What would it be like if you had the tools you need to feel peace, confidence, and a sense of purpose in your life, relationships, and career?

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Many clients notice their lives feeling more authentic and peaceful, and they find it easier to be close and connected to their significant other. They begin having the confidence to pursue things that scared them before (authoring a book, taking a class, or switching careers). They feel less anxious, more self-assured, and clearer about where they are going. They get unstuck and find purpose.

In fact, a lot of people report that family and friends have noticed such a difference they've asked what has happened to them! Over time the healing and insight they gain on the inside of their lives begins to be seen on the outside.
