My Approach to Helping
I specialize in working with teens and adults who are struggling with anxiety disorders, depression and the after effects of trauma. I'm guessing that you found your way here because you have found that your life is being negatively impacted by what you are feeling. It is not always easy to ask for help, but I'm glad you are taking steps towards healing. You deserve to be happy. You also need to feel comfortable with whomever you decide to work with.
I offer a free consultation so that we can meet and make sure you feel the right connection with me and so I can explain how we would together. I am committed to bringing a holistic and organic approach to each client I work with. What I mean by that is that I treat my clients as a whole person, not just the symptoms they are experiencing and by doing therapy that way, we can make healthy changes that last. I teach many tools and techniques that are practical and easily implemented into daily life. I've even written a book called 99 Ways to Take Control of Your Anxiety & Stress. My belief is although it is important that my clients understand not only why they are feeling and behaving the way they do, they also need to gain the tools to make their lives better.
