My Approach to Helping
It is not easy to seek out help when life is constantly throwing challenges our way. I am here to support you. I specialize in working with suicidal thoughts and feelings, childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, self-worth, relationship issues, and life transitions. I provide individual and couples therapy to teens and adults.
My therapy approach focuses on the importance of the therapeutic relationship, which together allows you to journey through life’s challenges, struggles, joys, and changes. I bring a person-centered and collaborative approach to join you in the present and support you towards the life you want.
I am knowledgeable using a variety of therapeutic approaches such as narrative therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and The Gottman Method. I have completed specialty training in the collaborative assessment and management of suicidality (CAMS) and am a prepare-enrich Facilitator.
Before beginning my career as a therapist, I served in the United States Air Force and have traveled worldwide. As a military veteran, suicide prevention is my passion along with empowering you to find hope when life feels hopeless.
