My Approach to Helping
Though it can be difficult, problems can give us a chance for growth. During therapy, we work in collaboration to build healthier coping mechanisms and facilitate lasting change; to examine your story and understand negative patterns; to mourn losses, whether they are related to death, social injustice, or childhood. I believe in being in the present moment and living life fully as much as possible, which is not always a pleasant or easy endeavor. I bring curiosity and compassion to my work, and focus on the totality of the self: mind, body, spirit, and emotions.
