My Approach to Helping
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher. With nearly 20 years of experience, I provide counseling services to individuals and couples to treat anxiety, depression and relational issues. My approach is interdisciplinary, working within the context of your life to encourage the sharing of feelings and resolving challenges at home, interpersonal, occupational and social settings. Let's work together to alleviate your symptoms, manage your daily life and tap into your full potential. My advice has been featured in Boston Magazine and Dr. Oz The Good Life Magazine. I offer a range of therapeutic modalities, all geared to help you reach your full potential. My philosophy is that if we could do better we would! What prevents us is that often we lack the tools to help us succeed. Through my guidance and utilizing therapeutic interventions that cater to your specific needs based on my experience, education, and training I will help you discover your inner wisdom and move forward In the right direction.
Utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and a multidisciplinary approach, I implement a range of modalities which include: client centered therapy, solution focused therapy, narrative therapy, brief therapy (trained at the Brief Therapy Institute), relational therapy approach, spiritual counseling, yoga philosophy, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, and couples counseling.
