My Approach to Helping
Sometimes we need a little help to get by and to keep moving toward growth and healing. Therapy can be a great place for that. I am a gentle and challenging therapist who is passionate about working with women who are navigating trauma, anxiety, life stress, and feeling overwhelmed.
The cold, clinical, stuffy kind of therapy isn’t my style. I like the compassionate, authentic, and lighthearted kind of therapy much better.
It is really important to me that my clients know they are in a nonjudgmental space and they feel free to be themselves. I work with clients to move away from self-criticism toward self-compassion.
I have advanced training in trauma treatment including EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and supervised experience and training in mind-body approaches.
