My Approach to Helping

When you feel hopeless, building a life you want to live can seem impossible. It’s like being in a hole that gets deeper every time you try digging out. If that’s where you are, I’ll meet you there with a listening ear and ask lots of questions to discover what gives you purpose. By following your passions and finding support, getting out is possible.

More Info About My Practice

Finding your passion is the key to living a fulfilling life. My goal is to identify what you’re passionate about and offer solutions to integrate those things into your life.

That can look like spending time with family and friends, skiing/snowboarding, listening to music, or reading and writing. Pinpointing what you love can become a great outlet and coping skill.

Having things you love to do—with people who you love to do them with—can build your self-esteem, give you purpose, and make you feel connected to the world around you.

Groups I Work With

My clients are adolescents and young adults with mood disorders, suicidality, and substance use disorders. They might struggle with life transitions, fitting in with their peers, feeling a lack of control over their lives, or finding reasons to stay alive—let alone thrive.

Growing up around addiction, mood disorders, or general family dysfunction can make you feel alone. You don’t have to face those moments by yourself. When you’re feeling isolated or in the dark, I’m in your corner.
