My Approach to Helping
My approach is grounded in a deep appreciation and respect for each person's life journey and unique path toward healing, growth and wholeness. I take great care in fostering a safe, nonjudgmental, collaborative environment, with space to breathe and explore.
When discomforting symptoms and difficult feelings arise, it is natural that we all want them to go away and leave us alone. But I have found time and again that when we take a moment to slow down, be peaceful and really listen, they are like honest friends helping us to unfold what is wanting loving attention to grow. And then they go away all on their own!
I use a holistic model to facilitate the self awareness, knowledge and reflection to support coming back to balance. Through cultivating the tools of mindfulness, somatic awareness, curiosity, attending to present moment experiencing, we can all discover new realms of possibility and ways of being that are awaiting to emerge.
