My Approach to Helping

Psychotherapy is essentially an inner journey, usually undertaken when you are in some kind of emotional pain. You may feel lost, alone, clueless, and do not know what to do next. You may be struggling with your relationships and feel unable to convey what is really important. You may be feeling stuck in a creative pursuit and can't get beyond procrastination or the million obstacles in the road. You wish you weren't so afraid. Especially of psychotherapy. While therapy is not an easy journey, it is ultimately one that can give you more strength and especially resilience. I have been practicing psychotherapy for more than 30 years and feel blessed.

More Info About My Practice

My fee is $160/session.(Initial session is $170). I am a Blue Cross and Pacific Source provider. I am also on the EAP Provider panels for APS, ACI and Reliant.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

So many people come into therapy complaining of anxiety, depression or feeling fractured. I can help you find that inner glue to bring yourself together, that inner knowledge to move past depression, that inner courage to combat anxiety.I can help you figure out how to express your convictions and be better understood at home and in other important areas in your life.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Psychotherapy is a relationship that allows you the chance to better discover who you really are. Confidentiality is sacred. The focus is entirely on you. Your thinking self, your feeling self, your logical and illogical self, your dreaming self. As you talk to me, you are also talking to yourself. And the part of you that is the observer cannot help observing how you are talking about yourself and the life you are living. Together you and I will be listening to what hurts, what's important, what's funny, what's not so funny and figuring out what matters most and how to arrive there.
