My Approach to Helping
I recognize that exploring therapy may create feelings of fear and uncertainty. Sometimes life is hard and it seems to be unfair. So many responsibilities can leave you feeling anxious and overwhelmed. It is more common than you think. Everyone wants something from you. How do you say no? You don’t want to let anyone down. What do you do? Who do you talk to? It appears nothing you do is good enough for others. No matter what you do, no one is ever satisfied and now you feel like you have wasted your time trying to please other people. Do you feel empty, sad, confused, and maybe angry? You just want someone to listen who won't judge you. You need solutions not judgment. Your depression and anxiety is real.
Each of us has the ability to find resolution to our problems. Empathetic guidance and support are vital in revealing those abilities to my clients. My approach is flexible based on the needs of my clients.
