More Info About My Practice
I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with other therapeutic techniques that promote change. I believe change and growth occurs when we let go of negative behaviors and patterns. Together, we will work to increase insight, identify strengths, replace negative thinking, and implement coping skills to effectively handle life stressors.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I help adults, adolescents, and couples who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, negative behaviors, social stressors, and more. I believe change is possible and begins with self awareness and the motivation to change. I provide support and encouragement in a safe, warm, and empathetic environment.
How Psychotherapy Can Help
Counseling can help you understand and identify what is getting in your way of making the changes you want in your life. Counseling can also teach you ways of handling stressful life events and situations you can't change. The most helpful aspect of counseling is that as your counselor, I am objective and not involved in the situation you're trying to resolve. As your counselor, I only have your best interests to consider.
