My Approach to Helping
Toneisha is a licensed clinical social worker and supervisor with over 15 years of experience in working with preteens, teens, adults, and older adults. Toneisha's warm and friendly personality greet you when you enter the therapy room. She's easy to engage with, and eager to assist her clients in developing their problem solving abilities, coping skills, and finding, and utilizing, appropriate resources they may have not realized were available to them. She has significant experience in working with depression, anxiety, anger, and other mental health issues such as grief and abandonment.
Toneisha has worked closely with children and teens in abusive situations, and also provides counseling to those struggling with LGBT concerns. She utilizes brief therapy when working with substance abuse problems.
Toneisha also has the unique ability to aid and provide psychotherapy for individuals suffering from Alzheimer's Disease, Dementia, and other memory loss and cognitive disorders. Toneisha's vast knowledge across many populations, can aid in the therapeutic process , as she can assist her clients through the healing process of therapy as well as discovering assistance through existing social programs.
