My Approach to Helping

Holistic Elements endeavors to offer our clients a refreshing and unique therapy experience. Each detail of our practice is based on evidence-based research, from our dim lighting to our therapeutic approaches. The office features spa-like water features, mineral oils, aromatherapy, big, comfortable chairs, pillows, and clean blankets.

We hand-selected free refreshments based on research into major trace minerals and vitamins' influence on well-being. For example, we offer chocolate, which is rich in magnesium, which may be low in people with depression. Trail mix is rich in antioxidants that clear neural pathways, and iron that can boost energy.
Our therapists blend therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, with holistic approaches such as mineral oils, exercise, diet, yoga, and meditation. We support psychoactive medications and homeopathic and herbal approaches.

Our guests are empowered when they leave. Our team equips our guests with tools to help them manage their own mental health. Medication is not always enough, and may not always be the answer. We involve our guests in their own mental health.

My Therapy Focus

TJ Grow, (Clinical Mental Health Counselor) CMHC, has 16-years of experience providing mental health therapy. She is the owner of Holistic Elements, previously known as Holistic Balance. Her inspiration to create her own company came from her desire to offer more to people seeking therapy. Everything from the lighting and aromatherapy to the actual therapeutic approaches utilized in therapy are based on evidence-based research. For example, the treats that are offered are based on major and trace minerals and vitamins that reasearch shows to improve mental health conditions.

TJ is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (E.M.D.R.) which is a best-practice, evidence-based treatment modality for the treatment of trauma, abuse, self-esteem, addictions, anger, depression, loss, anxiety and panic attacks. It is the natural process of balancing the neurotransmitters. Medication is a bandaid, EMDR fixes the underlying problem causing the imbalance.

TJ integrates traditional therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, with holistic techniques like meditation, diet, EMDR.
