My Approach to Helping
To be human means to sometimes suffer. Whether it's a relationship that isn't working, feelings of anxiety or sadness, or a difficult transition in your life, please know that there is hope.
I am a skilled, compassionate therapist who will work as a guide and partner with you to navigate through whatever distress has brought you to therapy and help you discover a better, more fulfilling way to live and a deeper understanding and acceptance of yourself.
The most powerful, beautiful part of therapy is the experience of being heard, understood and accepted exactly as we are without judgement. I can create this experience for you in a safe, healing environment where you will be welcomed and encouraged to pause, reflect and find answers.
I share my office with my trained therapy dog, Jud. We've worked together doing for 8 years, doing hospice and crisis intervention work, before starting a therapy practice. He adds a gentle presence as he greets you when you walk in my office and is always available for extra comfort and safety.
