What is your styleapproach to therapy?
My style or approach to therapy is to create a comfortable environment as soon as possible with the person. I find that over time some personal disclosure can be helpful once a therapeutic relationship has been built. My style also includes gently challenging unhelpful thoughts and confronting unhelpful thoughts with reality challenging a person's errors in thinking in the process.
In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
I believe that my life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap to a fair extent. I believe that each of us has the strength and power within to make certain changes and that we all need some assistance from time to time to help bring about these powers within to the surface both personally and professionally.
