My Approach to Helping

You: look like you have it all together on the outside, yet inside you're struggling, and ashamed to admit it - especially since other people seem to have it so much worse. You're sensitive, idealistic and creative. You're aware of your potential and people reflect it back to you, but you're having trouble getting traction. You're not connecting with your work the way you want to, and your co-working relationships are ok, but not satisfying in the way you'd like them to be. It feels like somethings missing, but you don't know what, and you don't know where to find it. Under the surface, you feel scared, sad, lonely, insecure, anxious, depressed and you may be losing hope.

Me: I'll support you while you rediscover confidence and motivation, deepen your relationships, and experience satisfaction in your work. I specialize in helping people like you reconnect with life in a meaningful and fulfilling way. Bright as you are, I know how dark it can get. I see that while you show the world you're fine, you're suffering on the inside - and I'm here to help guide you back toward the light so you can really thrive.

Us: You're pretty comfortable with me right away. You feel like you can share just about anything without being judged - and you're right. It might take a little time before you trust me enough to let me know what's *really* up, and that's totally fine. I'll be ready when you are, and I'm happy both to listen and to wait. I accept you as you are and support you in who you're becoming, and you can trust that.

More Info About My Practice

I'm a holistic therapist, which means I approach therapy from a broad perspective, including mind, body and spirit. In practice, this usually looks like a fair amount of you talking and me listening - but we'll also use tools like meditation, art, and sandtray to facilitate your process. Plus, we'll draw from your background and interests, using all the resources we can to effectively meet your needs.

I don't typically diagnose people, and much prefer to utilize systems like the Enneagram, Meyer's Briggs and sometimes even Astrology to better understand and support you. These approaches offer the opportunity for reflection and insight, without applying judgement or pathology. Most of us don't need any extra help seeing what's "wrong" with us; it's what's right that too often gets buried or lost. I'm here to help you find it.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I love working with people who are the brink of living lives better than they ever imagined - and often don't even realize it.

Whatever you're dealing with, it's an inroad to you best and brightest self. Although no one's saying it will be easy, it's worth it. And I'm here to help.
