My Approach to Helping
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in December 1994 from Armstrong Atlantic University. I obtained my Master of Public Administration degree in December 1996 from Georgia State University. I obtained my Master of Professional Counseling degree in December 2015 from Grand Canyon University. I am a fully licensed therapist in the state of Georgia (LPC011391). I am also completing his doctorate degree at Grand Canyon University. I am finalizing his dissertation to become a psychologist which should be completed in the next calendar year.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults both on the individual and family level. These experiences also include being a senior level probation officer in the juvenile court in Henry County, Georgia for approximately 2 years.
My approach is a combination of different theories that emphasize addressing each client’s needs. I believe that creating a strong therapeutic relationship is vital in the counseling process.
I am completing my doctorate in psychology and will be able to implement psychological testing once my dissertation is complete.
