My Approach to Helping
As your therapist, I am dedicated to helping you move toward your best self, live the life you want, and enjoy more satisfying relationships with others. I have experience working with individuals as well as couples and families who are struggling with a range of problems. I specialize in anxiety, depression, stressful life transitions, maternalpaternal mental health and parenting issues.
I believe that counseling is a true investment in yourself and your future, and sometimes just the extra support you need to realize the strength and resiliency that is already inside of you. My counseling style is warm, accepting, and completely nonjudgmental. I firmly believe that you are the expert on your own life. As your therapist, my role is to use my training and perspective to help guide you to a higher level of self-awareness and healing. I will support you when you need it most, challenge you when you are ready, and use humor where it helps to ease your burden. I don't subscribe to a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy - I am experienced in a wide range of therapeutic techniques and bring a creative, solution-oriented approach to my work.
