My Approach to Helping
I enjoy and is specialized in treating young adults and adolescents with psychosis, mood disorders, and families of individuals with mental illness. I am interested in helping individuals and families cope, provide psychoeducation, problem solve, reduce distress related to symptoms, and identify ways that they can continue to successfully achieve their goals.
Prior to starting private practice, I held a faculty appointment within Vanderbilt’s Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, where I acted as a program coordinator and therapist for the hospital’s first episode psychosis team. I completed my graduate level training & has postgraduate therapy experience with both children & adults, ages 5-25.
