My Approach to Helping
Tara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Brightline’s Executive Director of Clinical Services. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults. Tara most recently served as the Regional Executive Director for Caminar in San Mateo County, which is a community-based mental health organization.
Tara also worked for more than a decade with Alameda County Court Appointed Special Advocates Program (CASA), which is a nationally-based organization that provides one-on-one court advocacy to abused, neglected and abandoned children who are dependents of juvenile court.
As the Regional Executive Director at Caminar, Tara oversaw five case management programs, a crisis residential facility, transitional housing, supported education programs, and a medication clinic.
