My Approach to Helping
Seeking support from a therapist may be uncomfortable, and perhaps even intimidating. With this in mind, my desire is to provide clear answers to any questions or concerns you may have about therapy. I offer free 20 minute appointments where we can meet and discuss any questions or concerns you might have, what brings you in and my style of therapy.

More Info About My Practice
In my practice I draw from several modalities including acceptance and commitment therapy and depth psychology.
Acceptance and commitment therapy is an empirically based intervention that uses acceptance and mindfulness principles along with commitment and behavior change. The intention is to live a life in which we are fully in contact with the present moment and moving towards our chosen values.
I also draw from depth psychology, in particular the use and power of stories and archetypes in our lives. The stories that we tell of our lives while being re-told can sometimes open up new perspectives that we hadn't seen before - altering our relationship to the story. From our own stories we can gain strength and inspiration for the next chapter.
