Henderson is a city in Clark County, Nevada. It has a land area of 108 square miles. The city is named after United States Senator Charles Belknap Henderson. It was incorporated in 1953.

Henderson has a population of 293,000 people. The population grew by 14% from 2010 to 2016. It is the second largest city in the state. Henderson has been recognized as the second safest city in America by Forbes magazine and one of the best places to live in America by Money magazine. 

The ethnic composition of Henderson is 68% white, 17% Hispanic, 7% Asian, and 5% black. Thirteen percent of residents are foreign-born. The city is home to 23,700 Spanish speakers, 5,600 Tagalog speakers, and 2,000 Chinese speakers.
