My Approach to Helping
Therapy is helpful at many points in life. Whether struggling with depression or trying to find your next step along the way, talking with another is an important part of healing and personal growth. Another perspective, an alternative approach, or someone to just listen and validate what you are going through is how I see my role in helping others.
I have an interactive approach to therapy. Empathy and understanding, along with collaboration and challenge are a combination that I have found to be the most helpful for my clients. I work with people on a variety of challenges including relationship problems, depression, anxiety, stress, transition to and from college, work and career related issues, work-life balance, major life transitions, anxiety, grief and loss, divorce recovery, midlife, as well as personal growth and development.
